I started CrossFit in 2012 and was hooked from the moment I realised that I couldn’t do a single pull-up (it took 3 months of practicing almost every day!)

CrossFit is more than a workout particularly here at CCW. It is a family (literally, for me!) where we all get to put down our stresses of work, home and life generally, and focus on our personal (and collective – see all the fundraising we’ve done!) wellbeing.

Outside of crossfit, I work as an advisor to government across social development, justice and infrastructure/housing. I’m a mum, a breast cancer survivor, a passionate politics geek and an ongoing learner of te reo Māori.

I feel privileged to coach and learn alongside our coaching team and members. I love seeing our members prioritising their health and being awesome examples for their whānau!
