coach
My CrossFit journey began back in 2018 when I moved to Wellington from the UK. One of the first things I did was join CCW and since that moment I’ve never looked back. At some point during all the workouts, post-class coffees, throwdowns, trips and socials, I made lifelong friends and found my home in Wellington.
Now I work as a Business Analyst for government, but in previous lives I was a barista at Moore Wilsons and a recruiter in London. I enjoy all fitness activities, and I’ll sign up for any event: CrossFit comps, runs, triathlon, Hyrox – you suggest it, I’ll be there. I founded the Unofficial CCW Swim and Run club, which meets regularly. I love movies, reading out the Dominion Post quiz, Man City, Linkin Park, skiing, surfing and Sherlock Holmes.
As a coach I want to bring energy, laughter and enjoyment to classes at CCW. My goal is to help members to move well and focus on progressing at their own pace, in an environment they feel at ease in. I respond well to encouragement, so that’s what I’ll give others.
